You don't need to buy a kit to investigate an experiment.

Every experiment comes with a description of how you can explore it yourself, using things you may already have at home. Follow the investigation, make your own observations, and see what you discover.

If you would like everything you need in one place, you can also buy the experiment kit from us. The kit simply makes it easier to get started—it is never a requirement.
